Baldwin Wallace University Dean's List announced for spring 2019
The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to BW Provost Stephen D. Stahl. "American La Ronde," Steven Dietz's contemporary reimagining of Arthur Schnitzler's "La Ronde," was brought to life by BW students during the fall 2018 semester. The play explores heartache and attraction in the lives of seemingly unconnected people left behind by a simple silver bracelet.

UA Students Participate in Spring 2019 Cooperative Education
More than 230 University of Alabama students are receiving hands-on, innovative and advanced educational experiences with dozens of companies and organizations across the United States through UA's Cooperative Education Program for spring 2019. In the Cooperative Education Program, students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment. This program offers work related to the academic major or career interests of each student. While in school, students carry regular course schedules. While on co-op, they work with professionals in their fields who supervise their training and work. At work, co-op students earn competitive salaries and may receive benefit packages in addition to valuable job experience. Participants maintain their full-time student status while at work and have priority registration status each semester through graduation.

Thirty Columbia State Community College student-athletes received the 2017-2018 TCCAA All-Academic Award. Student-athletes earning the award consisted of sophomores who had completed 48 hours of intercollegiate work with a 3.0 GPA or higher and freshmen who had earned 24 hours with a 3.25 GPA or higher.

Samford University Commencement Spring 2018
A record 1,240 degrees were awarded. That tops the 2017 record of 1,165. An estimated 250 students graduated with honors. In the seven commencement ceremonies, 33 different degree programs were recognized, including the first graduates in the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Athletic Training, Master of Science in Respiratory Care, Master of Science in Health Informatics and Bachelor of Science in healthcare administration programs in the College of Health Sciences. Graduating students represented 28 states and seven other countries: United Kingdom, Malaysia, China, France, South Korea, Canada and Germany.
